Support Performance

24/7 support is provided to customers, both through online chat, and over the phone support is also provided. The fact that customers can choose to set up their site anywhere, also means there are a number of offices set up, so you won't be routed to a different office, if you need local assistance, for anything that you are doing on your site. Online tutorials, videos, and guides are provided; and, email support is also generally answered within a couple of hours, after an email ticket has been submitted for assistance with your site.

Pricing, Value and Renewal Fees

Site5 offers a web hosting package starting at $4.95. It is similar to most other hosts, with an entry level package; but, this host has the feature of allowing the customer to choose their location for hosting, which does make their package a pretty good value for the price they are paying for their hosting. A price of $8.95 and $11.95 are also provided, for faster speeds, unlimited domains, and additional features as well.

If you like reasonable pricing, and several features at an entry level price, you are going to like what Site5 has to offer. The fact that they offer hosting anywhere, in and of itself is a great feature which other hosts do not offer; so, you can build your site anywhere, and for the flat price you pay, if you are a US based customer.
Site5 Pros
  • Excellent Uptime, very reliable
  • Very good Server Speed
  • All other features very good
  • Storage and Bandwidth unmetered
Site5 Cons
  • Prices for first term pretty high (compare e.g. Bluehost < $4)
  • Limited support for customers outside the US.
